Students express mixed feelings about the Division I feasibility study. President Ronald Rochon announced Sept. 27 that the university would be studying the feasibility of transitioning university athletics to NCAA Division I.

The university is conducting a feasibility study to see if a transition to NCAA Division I is possible. At a Faculty Senate meeting Oct. 8, 2021, President Ronald Rochon said I will tell you all right now we do not have a lot of answers, thats why were doing the study.
