Aracely Chavez, Staff Writer

Aracely Chavez is a junior journalism major with minors in world languages and cultures and gender and sexuality studies. Chavez joined The Shield in Spring 2023 as a staff writer and now served as news editor for the Fall 2024 semester.

Chavez enjoys spending her time with friends, cats and family as well as journaling, listening to music and learning new things.
