Campus Activities
Coffee and Consent will take place April 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the University Center West desk. Learn some helpful conversation starters to talk about consent and get a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate. This event is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and is hosted by the Institutional Equity Office and Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center.
APB Treasure Hunt is April 17 at 3 p.m. at Rice Plaza. Join a Treasure Hunt for a chance to win prizes. Treasures will be hidden around campus as small trophies/eggs to collect, each worth a different prize.
Housing and Resident Life
Corn Dogs and Corn Hole is April 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Community Center. Join the RAs for corn dogs, cornhole, and good vibes.
Butter Together will take place April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Newman Multipurpose Room. Enjoy free rolls and butter with RAs in the Newman Multipurpose room.
Greek Life
Sigma Pi Sand Volleyball will be held April 14 at 5 p.m. at the Sand Volleyball Courts. SP is hosting a sand volleyball tournament April 14. Teams of 6 are allowed. The winning team will get a gift card to Los Bravos.
Delta Zeta Flag Football is April 15 at 4:30 p.m. at Broadway Outfield. DZ is hosting a fundraiser with a Flag Football Tournament. It is $35 a team and 7 players is the minimum.
Sigma Sigma Sigma will host Sigma Soulmates April 15 at 5 p.m. in Kleymeyer Hall, in the lower level of Liberal Arts. Sigma Soulmates is a fun game show that anyone can participate in, and it will show if you really know your friends. Only two people on a team.
Delta Zeta Strides For Sound 5K is April 18 at 9 a.m. at the USI Sand Volleyball Court. The race will take place on the USI campus and is open to runners and walkers of all levels. All proceeds are donated to the Starkey Hearing Foundation to help provide hearing healthcare and hearing aids to people in need.
Academic and Professional Development
Journal Club will be held April 14 at 12 p.m. in Liberal Arts 1001. Kristina Baker, assistant professor of psychology, will present “Autistic juvenile defendants: How defendant race and offense type affect juror decisions” to allow psychology and sociology students to engage in and discuss research.
Student Organizations
Mu Gamma Pi is having a general meeting April 13 at 3 p.m. in Science Center 3250 (Math Study Room). The meeting will discuss future events, play math-themed games, and socialize.
Women’s Lacrosse Club Open Practice is April 13 and 15 at 7 p.m. at Broadway Sports Complex. Open practice takes place Mondays and Wednesdays until finals week from 7-9 p.m.
Black Student Union Meeting will take place April 15 at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Life Lounge on the lower level of University Center East. Join the Black Student Union for a relaxed space to connect with peers and stay in the loop on upcoming campus events. All students are welcome.
Tabletop Club will host TableTop Game Night April 15 at 5 p.m. in University Center 2206. Meet cool people, play old favorites, learn new games, or bring your own game to share.
The International Club will host SandSoccer April 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sand Volleyball Courts.
The Philosophy Club Earth Week Themed Game Night is April 15 at 6 p.m. in Liberal Arts 2004. Celebrate Earth Week by joining the Philosophy Club to play Daybreak, the award-winning game based on some of the best science and policy analysis on how to tackle climate challenges and their related fallout. This is a co-operative board game modeling real-world conditions technologically and politically.

Navigate Nutrition Facts will be held April 16 at 12 p.m. in the Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Center 122. Join to break down macronutrients and micronutrients, explore where they’re found in everyday foods, and interpret the nutrition facts label. Learn how to read food labels like a pro.
