The university hosted the 31st annual Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Luncheon featuring Keynote Speaker, Sheila Huff, in Carter Hall, Monday, Jan. 19. The memorial luncheon included a student reflection by President, Student Government Association, Lenona Benton, and an invocation by Director of Religious Life, Anna Schulten. Huff reflected on the importance of family, faith, and humanity, aligning with Martin Luther King Jr.’s values, and emphasized the role of parents to establish respect within families and society.
