The Faculty Award for Service, Teaching and Research Committee is accepting faculty nominations and grant awards.
The following awards can be found in an email sent by Xiaozhe Gu, assistant professor of accounting and FASTRC chair, Oct. 10, with application guidelines, eligibility and nomination forms linked to each award. The nomination form is due Nov. 15.
- Sydney L. and Sadelle Berger Faculty Community Service Award
- USI Distinguished Professor Award
- USI Outstanding Teaching Award
- USI Foundation Outstanding Teaching by New Faculty
- USI Foundation Outstanding Teaching by Adjunct Faculty
Most award nominations can be made by USI Faculty. However, others can be made by alumni, administrators or students who are not currently enrolled in the nominee’s class.
The following internal faculty grant awards are due Nov. 4:
- New Harmony Outreach and Engagement Faculty Grant
- Early Career Faculty Grant
- Tenured or Clinical Faculty Grant
- Faculty Research and Creative Works Grant
- Bronstein Faculty Research and/or Innovation Grant
According to the USI’s Internal Awards and Grant webpage, the Office of Sponsored Projects and Research Administration can assist faculty in submitting an internal award or grant proposal.
The grant award process must be submitted through an “Intent to Apply Form” at least one week before the deadline.
