The university will hold in-person commencement for students graduating in the Spring 2021 semester.

The university will have eight reduced-capacity commencement ceremonies.

Commencement has been held in five ceremonies in the past. The university has increased the ceremonies to accommodate a reduced capacity due to pandemic safety concerns, according to the university’s communication department’s press release.

Graduate students’ ceremonies are at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. May 7.

Undergraduate students’ ceremonies will be:

May 8:

  • Romain College of Business, 9 a.m.
  • College of Liberal Arts, 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

May 9:

  • Pott College of Science, Engineering and Education, 9 a.m.
  • College of Nursing and Health Professions, 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Students will receive more information about which ceremony they will attend after they register.

Each student is allowed two guests and must register before 4:30 p.m. March 23.

The university will send emails to students with the link to register for the ceremony, and, after registering, will send another email with instructions on how to reserve guests.
