Men’s indoor track & field received a midway ranking in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association preseason poll.

The team took the number 14 spot on the list out of 25 teams.

The team will return runners who succeeded on the track last year including seniors Tyler Pence and Johnnie Guy.

Pence won a championship in the 5,000 meters and Guy came in second at the national meet.

Overall, USI finished seventh in the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships last year.
In the GLVC USI is joined in the rankings by Lewis University who took spot number 15.
