When I was 11-years-old I was proud of my Jewish heritage. I thought it made me unique. When I was 12-years-old I became a victim of bullying and discrimination.

Imagine a black kid, putting books into his locker, minding his own business when suddenly, another kid shouts, “Act your color.” This was nothing new to “the whitest black guy.”
