In April, as the weather continues to shift, so too does the number of outdoor sporting events the University of Southern Indiana offers.
The first half of the month offers a steady flow of USI baseball and softball games and men’s and women’s tennis matches, all of which have considerable appeal. Friday, April 4, features a large assortment of sporting events featuring the four teams, lasting throughout the day.
The second half of April offers a significant collection of baseball and softball games. The must-watch baseball game in this assortment is the matchup against the University of Evansville. Any opportunity to beat the crosstown rival must be exercised. For the softball team, the three games against Eastern Illinois University are crucial, since they currently hold first place in the Ohio Valley Conference softball standings.
