Slime Madness will take place March 23 at 6 p.m. in the O’Bannon Multipurpose Room. Join the Ruston O’Bannon staff to create your own slime to start the “Madness”.
APB Renaissance Faire will take place March 25 at 1 p.m. on The Quad.
APB General Member Takeover – Wonderland Tea Party is March 24 at 5 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge. Join for a “Wonderland” Tea Party and enjoy the elegant surprise of teas, coffees and more.
Mulan Movie Night is March 25 at 5 p.m. in Wright Administration 2 (Forum 2). Join to experience the culture and food featured in “Mulan” (1998). Tea, mooncakes, and dumplings \ will be provided. The first 50 participants will also receive a movie-related prize.
Holi Party is March 27 at 1 p.m. at Rice Plaza. Join the celebration of Holi with the Festival of Colors. This event includes color throwing, free food, free t-shirts, music, henna and dancing.
APB on Tour: Local Bookstore Crawl will be held March 28 at 10:30 a.m. The bus will board at the Fuquay Welcome Center. Join APB in visiting a few of the bookstores in town. RSVP in advance to secure your spot on the bus.
Housing and Residence Life
Breakfast & Battles will be held March 24 at 6 p.m. at the Residence Life Community Center. Join the McDonald staff for a fun night filled with games, good vibes and breakfast food.
March Madness Watch Party is March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Community Center (C-Store). Come out and watch some basketball. There will be a create–your-own nacho bar and other game day snacks.
What is… Trivia Night will take place March 26 at 6 p.m. in the Newman Multipurpose Room. Gather a team of five or fly solo as a free agent and test your knowledge for VISA gift cards for the winning team. Free snacks, drinks and a night of fast-paced trivia chaos will be provided.
Academic and Professional Development
The Study Abroad Information Session will take place March 25 at 2 p.m. in University Center 2205 for students interested in studying abroad and earning credit toward their USI degree.
Journal Club will be held March 26 at 2 p.m. in Liberal Arts 1001. Dr. Gonnerman will present “Moral vs Natural Evil: The Theodicy Effect” to allow psychology and sociology students to engage in and discuss research.
Student Organizations
Black Student Union Meeting will take place March 25 at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Life Lounge on the lower level of University Center East. Join BSU for a relaxed space to connect with peers and stay in the loop on upcoming campus events. All students are welcome.
The Student Government Association will host Gala Night March 25 at 6 p.m. in Carter Hall.
Food and Nutrition Student Organization Meets March 26 at 3:30 p.m. in the Health Professions Building, Lower Level Kitchen L054. Snacks and treats will be provided. The meeting will include updates on fundraising opportunities and volunteering opportunities happening for the remainder of the semester.
Tabletop Club will host TableTop Game Night March 26 at 5 p.m. in University Center 2206. Meet cool people, play old favorites, learn new games or bring your own game to share.
Health and wellness
Spring De-Stress Fest will be held March 26 at 2 p.m. in Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness 122. Relax with mini clay pot painting, coloring and hot chocolate. Don’t forget to grab a free herb seed packet to take home and grow your own fresh seasoning, plus free stress management resources and swag from Counseling & Psychological Services.
