Screaming Eagles fans watched the USI women’s basketball team’s senior day matchup against Tennessee Tech University Saturday, Feb. 14, in Liberty Arena. Southern Indiana’s senior basketball players, Ali Saunders, senior guard, and Sarang West, senior guard, were honored for their accomplishments throughout their collegiate careers. The Screaming Eagles won comfortably after a big third-quarter performance, scoring 25 points while holding the Golden Eagles to 10. Ali Saunders scored 17 points and dished out eight assists in her final regular-season game at Southern Indiana. The Screaming Eagles hit the road for a crucial game against first-place Western Illinois University Thursday, Feb. 19.
