DIY Bouquets with APB is Feb. 10 aHurst t 3 p.m. in the Student Life Lounge in University Center East. Get ready for Valentine’s Day by making your own flower bouquet to keep or give to a loved one. Roses, bouquets to decorate and extra items will be available.
Eat Smart for a Healthy Heart will be held Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m. in the Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness 122. This month’s nutrition workshop celebrates American Heart Month and will discuss tips to live a heart-healthy lifestyle. Hosted by the Food & Nutrition Department and Recreation, Fitness and Wellness.
Lunar New Year is Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. at USI. Hosted by the Asian Student Union and the Chinese Student Union.
“Be Your Own Valentine” Party will take place Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge in the University Center East. Make your own cards, crafts, gift baskets and more while enjoying music and free snacks.
International Food Expo will be held Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. in Carter Hall in University Center West. This annual cultural celebration features traditional dishes and desserts from around the world, with numerous food booths and cultural performances such as traditional dances, music and fashion shows.
Roses for Residents is Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. at Solarbron. STELLAR and Delight are teaming up to hand out roses to residents at Solarbron Senior Living for Valentine’s Day.
Greek Life
Tau Kappa Epsilon will host a Chapter Feb. 8 at 5:45 p.m. in Business and Engineering Center 0003.
Delta Zeta will host Roses for Riley Feb. 9-13 at 11 a.m. upstairs in University Center West by The Loft. Delta Zeta will be selling roses this Valentine’s Day to support Riley Children’s Hospital. Roses are $2 for one or $5 for three. Debit and credit card payments only; no cash accepted.
Tau Kappa Epsilon Rush Day 1 will take place Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. on the second floor of University Center East and will involve meeting members of TKE. Attendees can meet the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon, connect and ask questions about the organization while playing poker and darts.
Alpha Sigma Tau Valentine’s Day Card Making is Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. in Business and Engineering Center 0035, where members will make Valentine’s Day cards for YWCA.
Tau Kappa Epsilon Rush Day 2 is the TKElympics, which will be held Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. at the Recreation Center Courts 1 and 2. Attendees can participate in TKElympics, including cornhole, floor hockey, basketball, ping pong, and get a chance to talk one-on-one and hang out with the brothers.
Tau Kappa Epsilon Rush Day 3 Poker Night is Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. on the second floor of University Center East. They will have Texas Hold ‘Em to play with TKE actives and alumni.
Alpha Sigma Alpha Fall in Love with Alpha Sig will take place Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. in Orr Center 2025. This COB event involves candle painting and watching a romantic comedy.
Sigma Sigma Sigma will host Tri Sigma in Full Bloom (COB) Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Orr Center 0018. Students are invited to create their own flower bouquets and learn about the sisterhood.

The Public Relations Student Society of America will host guest speaker Annie Teruel Feb. 10 at 4:30 p.m. in Liberal Arts Center 1016. The speaker series features professionals who share experience, advice and career perspectives. Open to all majors.
Student Organizations
Black Student Union Meeting will take place Feb. 11 at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Life Lounge in University Center East. Enjoy a relaxed space to connect with peers and stay in the loop on upcoming campus events. All students are welcome.
Rotaract Club Kickoff Meeting is Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Education Building 2113. Rotaract Club will be making Valentine’s Day cards for a local hospital.
Tabletop Club will host TableTop Game Night Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. in University Center 2206. Meet cool people, play old favorites, learn new games or bring your own game to share.
Food and Nutrition Student Organization Social will host Valentine’s Day Cookie Decorating Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. in the Health Professions Building, lower Level Kitchen L054. There, students can decorate cookies for Valentine’s Day. Cookies are free to eat and take home.
Psychology Club will host a “Be Your Own Valentine” Party Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge in University Center East.
SGA Alumni Weekend is Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. in University Center 2217-2218. Enjoy a panel of former USI Student Leaders and SGA Alumni sharing how student involvement shaped their careers and professional success.
