Garrick ‘The Grik’ Hargrove, assistant professor of fine arts at IU Indianapolis, gave a lecture to students and faculty on Thursday, Nov. 6. The lecture was held at the David L. Rice Library. Throughout the lecture, Hargrove showcased his own work, going into detail about his hobbies, interests and how they connect to what he creates.
Before ending his lecture and turning it over for questions, he left the audience with a quote: “Art isn’t a search for answers, it’s a way for you to pay attention.”
