Notable Events

To open up the Fall 2025 semester, the University of Southern Indiana has a collection of sporting events to attend, free of charge to all students.

The Women’s Soccer team makes its home debut against Cleveland State University on Sunday, Aug. 17th, at Strassweg Field, located to the southeast of Liberty Arena. In the following week, the USI Men’s Soccer team returns home from a quick trip to Louisville University for their home opener against Rose-Hulman at Strassweg Field on Tuesday, Aug. 26th.

On Friday, Aug. 29th, the USI Volleyball team opens its season with a doubleheader against two opponents. They host Valparaiso University at 1 p.m. and then close out the night with an anticipated matchup against Saint Louis University. On that same night, the USI Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams begin their season with the Stegemoller Twilight, a four-kilometer meet at 7:30 p.m., at USI Cross Country Course, which is located to the East of USI Burdette Trail.
