Thomas Drury, instructor in music, introduces the jazz second half of the “2B or not 2B” recital Thursday in the Performance Center.
On Thursday evening, a piano and violin showcase was held in the Performance Center, called “2B or not 2B.” Jack Bogard, adjunct professor of violin at the University of Evansville, was the violinist at the recital and Thomas Drury, USI instructor in music, was the pianist. Bogard and Drury performed Johannes Brahms’s “Sonata #1 in G major” for piano and violin as well as jazz selections and pieces by Samuel Barber. The recital was free and open to the public.
