Interim Provost Shelly Blunt begins the procession for the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions, the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education, and the School of Graduate Studies commencement ceremony Saturday in the Liberty Arena.

The Fall 2024 Commencement ceremony for the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions, the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education and the School of Graduate Studies was organized at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Liberty Arena.

The commencement address was delivered by Bohan Ye, assistant professor of economics and recipient of the H. Lee Cooper Core Curriculum Teaching Award.

Nico Armeanu is a junior studio art and German major. Armeanu joined The Shield in Spring 2024 as a photographer and now serves as the arts and entertainment editor. Armeanu was the district winner at the 2022 Congressional Art Competition and won the freshman award in USI’s 53rd Annual Juried Art Contest. In 2023, they won best in show for the teen category at the Wesselman Wood's Juried Art Contest. Armeanu spends most of their free time making art. Outside of that, they enjoy swimming, playing guitar and working on DIY projects.
