The women’s basketball team hosted the Northern Kentucky University Vikings Saturday in Liberty Arena. The game was characterized by back-and-forth, physical play by both teams. 

USI nearly blew a 20-point lead going into the fourth quarter but held on to win by a score of 75-73. 

The team will travel to Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Clasico for games against Youngstown State University and Le Moyne College Friday and Saturday.
