Rob Dickes, associate professor of photography and digital imaging, and Greg Blair, assistant professor of art and design, introduce Brooke Shaden at her artist talk Friday in Forum I of the Wright Administration Building.

The Midwest Society for Photographic Education’s conference featured Brooke Shaden as a keynote speaker. Shaden showcased her work and explained her process and approach to photography Friday in the Forum I of the Wright Administration Building. The event was open to USI students and the attendees of the conference.

Kai Harris is a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. Harris joined The Shield in Fall 2024 as the visual editor. In the past, he has worked with local startups and small organizations as a designer. He is also the co-author of a graphic novel “Pinewood.” Harris enjoys drawing, playing bass, writing music and going on walks in his free time.
