“Baggy Genes,” an art event created by cousins and USI alumni Ethan Douglass and Christian Schmitz, returned for one night Sept. 28 with “Baggy Genes: The Early Days.”
The pair graduated from USI in 2023. There, Douglass majored in graphic design and had a minor in marketing, while Schmitz double-majored in public relations and advertising and minored in graphic design.
The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana hosted the event at their gallery in downtown Evansville. The event was held from 7-10 p.m. and featured multi-media artwork, music from a DJ and merchandise designed by Douglass and Schmitz.
