The women’s soccer team played a home match against the Bellarmine Knights of Louisville, Kentucky, Sunday. Despite falling behind by one goal early in the first half, the Screaming Eagles kept fighting. Following a play by Greta Ohlwein, sophomore forward, the team managed to come back and beat the Knights to earn its first win. Ohlwein scored a brace (two goals) in the win, and USI’s aggressive play led to nine corners and nine shots, ultimately allowing them to win the match.
