Organizations in Evansville present at the Renaissance Challenge Speaker & Resource Fair Wednesday in Carter Hall located in University Center West.

The College of Liberal Arts hosted the Renaissance Challenge Speaker & Recourse Fair Wednesday in Carter Hall, located inside University Center West. The Renaissance Challenge is a fall semester of challenges that are focused on learning life-long skills, getting closer to the community, being aware and staying informed about recycling and carbon footprints. During Wednesday’s challenge, multiple organizations came together and set up tables where they could network with students.

Ethan MacCowan, junior radio television major, was a Staff Photographer and Videographer for the 2022-2023 academic year. MacCowan joined The Shield in Spring 2023.  MacCowan was involved with Access USI SETV12, Sigma Pi Fraternity and Scripps Video Production Lab on campus. MacCowan enjoys cooking food, making music, attending social events and oversleeping. His favorite movies and shows are “Money Heist,” “Avatar,” “Avatar the Last Airbender,” the Harry Potter series, “Outer Banks” and “F is for Family.” “I absolutely love the opportunity to bring something new to the table here at The Shield and help start something we’ve never done in the past before,” MacCowan said.
