Media Day is when various media outlets interview USI basketball players. The event usually ends with the teams’ coaches presenting them at the Fall Festival.

Media Day was supposed to be Tuesday at 2 p.m., but has been postponed “due a potential positive/contact COVID-19 case involving a student athlete,” Ray Simmons, director of athletic communications, said in an email to media outlets.

The student won’t be identified and athletes won’t be available for interviews as per university guidelines.

Media Day has not been rescheduled.
