REAL ID Act to impact flights

There will be a modification in federal law that will affect everyone who flies for university business and for personal travel. Starting Oct. 1, the Transportation Security Administration will require every air traveler 18 and older to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, marked by a star at the top of the card, a state-issued enhanced driver’s license or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the U.S.
