USI College of Liberal Arts hosts Evansville band, Tapestry on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Performance Center and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the USI Foundation through generous donations. Tapestry is a five member rock band with classically trained singers. Some of the members lead classes for USI theater majors and music minors.

Tapestry brings classic hits and modern music together with a fusion of opera and rock. The band aims to bring a wide range of diverse people together by introducing them to musical traditions that are unfamiliar to them. Tapestry works to show people that their similarities are greater than their differences.
