The Board of Trustees will meet for the first time of the year Thursday in Indianapolis.

Among items on the agenda, a report will be presented on the 2019 session of the Indiana General Assembly, including the initial budget recommendation from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education compared to USI’s approved budget request.

Trustees will meet with legislators and lobbyists at the state capitol as part of their visit.

The Finance and Audit Committee and the Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management Committee are not scheduled to meet.
