The University of Evansville has named Christopher Pietruszkiewicz as the university’s 24th president after a formal vote by the Board of Trustees March 28 according to the university’s website.

Pietruszkiewicz currently serves as dean at Stetson University’s College of Law and will be replacing current president Tom Kazee, who will retire in May after serving as UE’s leader for the past eight years.

Pietruszkiewicz will officially start as president July 1.

USI has yet to release details on the presidential candidates or when a decision will be made.
