The Chamber Choir will present the 45th annual Madrigal Feaste Dec. 4-7 at Carter Hall, located in University Center West.
The reenactment of a renaissance royal feast will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4-6 and at 1 p.m. Dec. 7.
The Feaste, which is set in Renaissance Ireland this year, is scripted with processionals and music accompanying each item on the menu. It’s one of USI’s oldest traditions.
The Chamber Choir will entertain with selections of old English Madrigals, Irish traditional folk songs and carols and choral selections for the holiday season from a variety of European repertory.
