The “Tracy Archuleta on Baseball” radio show is back on the air.
Tracy Archuleta and Dan Egierski are in the fifth season of the show and both are excited to be on air and talking about USI’s baseball season.
Egierski is a seasoned veteran in the world of sports broadcasting. He and Archuleta will delve into everything related to Screaming Eagles baseball.
“We will be having current players and assistant coaches on the show,” Egierski said.
The show, sponsored by ESPN, broadcasts for one hour and appears four times a year. The hosts and their guests will talk about what has occurred during the season and what to expect down the road for the team.
Egierski said the show is broken into four sections.
The segments will include talk about previous games, player performances, individual interviews with players and coaches, responsibilities of players and questions from a live crowd.
The three remaining shows will air on ESPN 106.7 FM April 9, April 24 and May 1 at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live from St. Phillip’s Inn.
Anyone is allowed to watch Egierski and Archuleta live at St. Phillip’s Inn.
Archuleta said he and Egierski will talk primarily about USI baseball, but subjects are not limited to that realm.
Egierski has been on Evansville radio waves for more than 30 years. In addition, Archuleta has had his fair share of radio experience.
Archuleta said he has appeared on a few other radio shows to talk about baseball.
“We would like to invite anyone out and be a part of the show,” Egeirski said.
