Linh Nguyen, junior business administration major, was the Business Manager for the 2022-2023 academic year. Nguyen joined The Shield in November 2021. She also served as Finance Director of The Shield's COVID-19 Publication Committee for the 2023 special-edition magazine, "Unmasked."  Nguyen was awarded 2021-2022 Positive Attitude Award and 2022-2023 Difference Maker Award for her work completed at The Shield during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years respectively. 

Nguyen was involved with the Honors Program, RCOB Student Advisory Board, Student Ambassadors, Emerging Leaders, and the Asian Student Union on campus. Nguyen enjoys being outside when the weather is nice and hanging out with friends. Her favorite shows are “Friends” and “Modern Family.” 

“The Shield has given me so many valuable opportunities and experiences that I will always cherish,” Nguyen said. “I have met amazing people here who have become such a big part of my life and gained valuable work skills that continue to help me in life. I’m also very grateful for the support and trust from everyone on the team who constantly work to help each other improve.”
