The USI men’s basketball team hosted East-West University for a tune-up match Monday night. The Screaming Eagles played all 16 active players in this matchup in a well-balanced attack, with no player playing over 21 minutes.
Four players scored in double figures: Stephen Olowoniyi, sophomore forward; Jayland Randall, junior guard; Braxton Jones, junior guard; and Jared Washington, junior guard. Jack Campion, junior guard, dished out nine dimes for the third game in a row and committed only one turnover.
The Screaming Eagles will hit the road for a tough matchup against The Southern Illinois University Carbondale Salukis at 2 p.m. Saturday.
