Disney+ has something for everyone
“Do you have Disney+? I need to watch ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’!” said every college student ever.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Disney recently launched its new streaming service, Disney+, on November 12th.
For the small price of $7 monthly, you can have access to all of your childhood favorites, including ‘Hannah Montana’, ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Frozen’.
Broke college students may find the price to be a little high, but it’s cheaper than Netflix or the price of a movie ticket. You can even split the price with your family, friends or roommates because Disney+ allows multiple profiles.
This isn’t just for your little sister, though. Disney+ has something for everyone . Of course all of the Disney classics are there, but so is the entirety of the Pixar franchise.
Plus, your inner geek will love the Marvel and Star Wars movies included as well. Anyone who loves nature will be overjoyed to know National Geographic has their films included on the platform.
It makes the perfect date with your boo, movie night with your roommate or an easy watch while you’re working on homework.
To top it all off, the interface is easily accessible and user-friendly. You can easily see all of the popular, trendy movies as soon as you log in.
If you can’t find the movie you’re looking for, you can easily search for it. You can watch it on your TV, laptop or phone, as the service is available on the vast majority of platforms and operating systems.
Furthermore, Disney has multiple originals and remakes that are pretty good, excluding the new ‘High School Musical’ TV show that literally no one was asking for. More movies and TV shows are being added each day, but the selection is already pretty solid.
If you’re tired of Netflix and want a wider selection of children’s TV shows, you should definitely check out Disney+.
So, this holiday season, pretend you’re a kid again and snuggle up with your roommates in the living room to watch your favorite Christmas classics. You owe it to yourself to unwind and have some fun. You’ve worked hard all semester.
After all, $7 doesn’t seem like too much whenever you’re spending $20k for college. Your bank account might hate you, but you might as well do it.
