USI Archives and Special Collections has partnered with various Veteran groups to preserve historical materials housed at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Coliseum in downtown Evansville. 

The Coliseum was opened in 1916 as a tribute to the men of Vanderburgh county who fought in the Civil and Spanish-American War.

USI Archives will help preserve materials found in the Grand Army of the Republic Room. These archives contain charters and monographs from the Civil War. Select materials will be available online after USI restores them.
