The university Women’s Choir, Chamber Choir and Irish Traditional Ensemble will present a St. Patrick’s Day concert March 17 at 3 p.m. in the Rice Library 2nd Floor Reading Room. This concert includes Irish Traditional Tunes, Songs and Blessings. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Chamber Choir received first place in the Mayo International Choral Festival Premiere Competition in Ballina, Ballintubber and Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland as part of its 2018 Ireland concert tour. They previously competed in the festival in 2016, participated in the Universitas Cantat festival in Poznan, Poland in 2017 and will perform at Carnegie Hall in May.
