USI grad Julie Kemp is the new principal of Boonville Middle School.

Kemp went to Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City, Ind., and graduated from Marian College in Indianapolis before earning her master’s degree from the university.

Kemp came to Boonville from Chrisney Elementary in Spencer County, where she previously served as principal.
