Kevin Hart will be coming to Evansville this Sunday as part of the “Kevin Hart: The Irresponsible Tour.”

Hart’s show will take place at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville and will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase online.

In recent years, Hart has seen much success in his comedic career and is most popular for the real-life relatable aspect of his content.

Connor Sturgeon, a sophomore Social Work major, said that he likes Kevin Hart because “his humor can be a mixture of both clean and vulgar and he tells stories about his life.”

Though Hart’s comedic content is mostly intended for mature audiences, he often talks about his family and offers parental guidance through experiences he has gone through with his own children.

Junior Early Childhood Education major Alana Devoy said she enjoys hearing the many mishaps that Kevin Hart experiences with his family because “it reminds us that we’re all human and it shows how dysfunctional families can exist even in lives of famous people.”

“Comedy and laughter are every bit as therapeutic as prescribed medication,” Sturgeon said. “I live off of comedy; laughter is the key to happiness.”
