Senior forward George Edwards has decided to leave the men’s basketball team this season, according to a news release from the Athletics Department.

Edwards was fourth on the team in scoring, with 11.8 points per game.

Three games remain in the team’s regular season before the start of the GLVC Championship Tournament.

“George felt this was the time to leave the program,” head coach Rodney Watson said in the release. “USI, Athletics, the men’s basketball team and I wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
