Senior distance runner Julia Kohnen was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.
The award follows her performance at the GLVC Big Meet on February 13, where she earned second place in the 5,000 meters.
Kohnen was competing against 121 competitors and finished the race in 16 minutes and 41.81 seconds.
