In response to the editorial written by Armon Siadat in the September 18 issue of The Shield:
USI Public Safety was aware of the issues with the DoubleMap bus tracking software and worked quickly to resolve the issue. All buses should now be showing up accurately. During the time the application was not tracking all buses, the following announcement was posted on the DoubleMap application.
The West Connection bus and both USI campus shuttle buses are running on their regular schedules. Due to equipment issues, only one campus shuttle currently appears on the DoubleMap application. We have been working closely with METS and DoubleMap and hope to have the issues resolved soon. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Future issues with the DoubleMap service can be directed to USI Public Safety. Known issues are posted in the Announcements section of the app. Our goal is to continue to make this a valuable service for our students.
